The World Record of ‘greatest distance between people singing a duet’ has been achieved by Shân Cothi from UK and Andres Evans from Argentina.
On Jun 05, 2015; Shân and Andres who were Twelve Thousand One Hundred Twenty (12120) km apart, performed Calon Lân, a Welsh hymn. The duet was part of the first BBC Music Day program. Both sides of the duet came together live in the control room in Cardiff. World Record attempt was supported by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Cor Radio Cymru, The Wales Millenium Centre/Only Kids Aloud Chorus and Cor CF1 in Cardiff and the choir Cor Tsgol Gerdd y Gaiman in Argentina.
The World Record of ‘longest performance of hanumanasana yoga’ has been achieved by Smiksha Dogra (11 years 01 month) from Rampur Bhushar, Himachal Pradesh, India.
On Jun 14, 2018; Smiksha (daughter of Ms. Surekha Devi & Mr. Ramlok) performed the Hanumanasana yoga (Monkey pose) for One Hour Sixteen Minutes (1H:16M).
Program has been organized by Himalya Haridwar Hospital Yog Samiti Ganvi and convened by Mr. Ranjit Singh.
The World Record of ‘most flower girls in a wedding’ has been achieved by Charlene Pearson and Leon Watts at Hita, Japan.
On Apr 02, 2017, Charlene Pearson and Leon Watts from Australia wedded at Hita with Two Hundred Fifty Three (253) flower girls in their wedding. Charlene and Leon attempted the record to bring joy to Hita as it was affected by the earthquake a year previous to the wedding.
