The World Record of ‘most people writing exam on the subject of bhagwadgita at single location’ has been achieved by ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.
On Feb 13, 2011 Five Thousand (5000) students from 35 schools wrote the exam at Savedi Krida Sankul (Municipal Sports Ground), Ahmednagar.
The World Record of “World largest tea party” is held by the city of Indore Indore, MP, India.
More than 40,000 participants joined forces to become a part of the world’s largest tea party. The venue for the particular event was Nehru Stadium in Indore. The date of the event was 28th February, 2008.
The event was organized by the Dainik Bhaskar group which is one of the leading media and publishing house of Central India. The total number of volunteers for the event were 980 who used a total of 2500 liters of milk and 2500 liters of water. Along with that, 250 kgs of tea and sugar were used to prepare the beverage. Tea Board along with consumer goods production company Hindustan Lever were the co-sponsors of the event.
The World Record of “largest flaming image” was achieved by 118 Sandoz employees of Pakistan at the Hotel Serena in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
The World Record of “largest flaming image using candles consisted of 35,478 candles and was achieved by 118 Sandoz employees of Pakistan at the Hotel Serena in Faisalabad, Pakistan, on 10 December 2009.
The completed image was made of the Sandoz logo and motto and had an area of 910.45 m² (9,800 ft²). The number of participants who drew the image was 118 and it took them 7 hours to draw the image. After this, another 1.5 hours were needed to place the candles, and 42 minutes to set them alight.
The World Record of ‘most people dressed as mahatma gandhi’ has been achieved by Veer Chhatrapati Shivaji English Medium School Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
In an event organized on October 07, 2012; One Thousand Ninety Nine (1099) students of class I to XII from Veer Chhatrapati Shivaji English Medium School, Raipur dressed as M. K. Gandhi.
The World Record of the ‘largest stadium in the world’ has been achieved by the Rungnado May Day Stadium from Pyongyang, North Korea.
The total capacity of the May Day Stadium is 150,000 people. It is a multi-purpose stadium and stages sporting events in the disciplines of Football, Athletics and various other Mass Games. It also hosts shows, parades and the festival of Arirang which involves Mass Gymnastics and Mass Artistic Records. The stadium was built in 1989 and is owned by the Government of North Korea. The total area of the stadium is 207,000 sq. meters. The main tenants of the stadium are the National Men’s and Women’s Football teams of North Korea.
