The World Record of ‘largest human depiction of smiley’ has been achieved by Future Group of Institutions from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India.
On November 04, 2015; One Thousand One Hundred Eleven (1111) people dressed in yellow & black to create the biggest human smiley at Sports Ground, Bareilly.
Record was made during the event ‘Diwali Carnival’ organized by Amar Ujala: A leading newspaper of India.
The World Record of ‘highest number of wickets in international cricket’ has been achieved by Mr. Muttiah Muralitharan from Sri Lanka.
During the International cricket career (Aug 28, 1992- May 22, 2014); Mr. Muralitharan took One Thousand Three Hundred Forty Seven (1347) wickets. He took 800 wickets in Tests, 534 wickets in One Day International and 13 wickets in T20.
The World Record of ‘largest crossword’ has been achieved by tourism department from Lvov, Ukrain.
It has been imprinted on the side of a 30 meter tall apartment building, the world’s biggest crossword puzzle consists of 19 squares across and 34 squares in height. During the day the crossword appears empty – with the answers lighting up at night. The questions for the puzzle are located in different point of interests of the city: monuments, theatres, fountains etc. so people walking around the city can try to solve the puzzle and write down their answers. When night comes they can meet at this house and check how they did.
