The World Record of ‘largest effigy of Ravan and Family trio’ has been achieved by Sarvjanik Dussehra Utsav Samiti from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
On Oct 22, 2015; Samiti made the largest trio effigy which measured Ravan (110), Kumbhakaran (80) and Meghnath (80) feet.
Mr. Rajesh Munat; Minister Transport, PWD and Environment, Government of CG coordinated the program.
The World Record of ‘largest drawing exhibition on a theme’ has been achieved by Lokmat Media Pvt. Ltd. from Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India.
On Oct 18, 2015; Lokmat, a leading news paper of Maharashtra organized the event in which One Hundred Eleven Thousand One Hundred Eleven (111111) drawings of lord Ganesha was displayed at Prozone mall.
The World Record of ‘most slanted bridge’ has been achieved by The Eshima Ohashi bridge from Japan.
The1.7 km long, two lane Eshima Ohashi bridge is so vertiginous that ships can pass underneath it. It connects the cities of Matsue and Sakaiminato, spanning a mile across Lake Nakaumi. It has a gradient of 6.1 per cent on the Shimane Prefecture side and 5.1 per cent on the Tottori Prefecture side.
The World Record of ‘longest bike ride incessantly by a duo (48 hours)’ has been jointly achieved by Lim Soon Hooi and Macques Ong Chee Weng from Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.
During June 15-17, 2016; Mr. Lim and Mr. Ong rode the bike Four Thousand One Hundred Eighty (4180) km incessantly in 48 hours. Journey was started and ended at Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.
The World Record of ‘most people in a family registered for body donation in a day’ has been achieved by Bafna Family from Dalli Rajhara, Chhattisgarh, India.
