On June 13, 2012; Two Thousand Five Hundred Sixty Nine (2,569) participants danced to a rendition of the “Hokey Pokey” created specifically for the event by singer and storyteller Laurie ‘Story Laurie’ McIntosh along with Rosendale musician and producer Dean Jones.
The World Record of ‘longest picnic table’ has been jointly achieved by Safeway markets in collaboration with Open Nature foods and Nood Network Chef Tyler Florence from San Francisco, California, USA.
The length of the table was measured at Three Hundred Five (305) feet. The construction of this longest picnic table consumed 7176 feet of FSC Certified Douglas Fir wood and 1032 bolts. The whole effort to assemble this structure needed 4 people and ten days. The weight of this record breaking table is 11,304 lbs (5129 kg). This picnic table can accommodate 405 people at one time.

Marie and Gabrielle are the oldest pair of twin sisters alive. Both of them celebrated their 104 birthday on October 02, 2013. Marie and Gabrielle currently stay in a retirement home called Chateiu Sour-Bois in Belgium.
The World Record of “the largest crocodile”has been achieved by saltwater crocodile of Mindanao, Philippines.
saltwater crocodile of the species Crocodylus porosus. This particular crocodile have been named as Lolong and has been found in Agusan del Sur Province of Mindanao, Philippines. The crocodile measured 6.17 m (20.24 ft) in length and weighs approximately 1075 kg (2370 lbs). The crocodile was measured at the Bunawan Eco-Park and Research Centre, Bunawan Township, Philippines. The crocodile was measured on July 2nd 2012.
The world record for the ‘biggest bullock’ in the world has been achieved by a bullock called The Field Marshall (Owned by Mr. Arthur Duckett) from Alstone, Somerset, UK.
Field Marshall weighed 1670 kg (3682 lbs) on 25th Dec. 2009. The Field Marshall is of the Charolais breed of domestic cattle and is white in color. Despite being so bulky in size, his body is very muscular and not on the fatty side.

The world’s tallest cactus plant has been grown in SDM College of Dental Sciences premises near Sattur in Dharwad, The height of the plant is measured to be Seventy Seven (77) feet. The scientific name of this cactus is Cereus Peruvianus. This cactus was planted on Aug 15, 2002; is still growing. There is a 3.9 degree angle of the stem with the tuft of spines which are present in the ridges.
