The World Record of wearing ‘longest wedding dress’ in world has been achieved by Ms. Emma Dumitrescu (17 years) from Bucharest, Romania.
On March 21, 2012; Romanian model, Emma Dumitrescu created the world record of wearing the longest wedding dress in world. The length of the dress was 2.98 kilometres. It was designed by Andree Salon fashion house, a local designer. Emma took a ride in a hot air balloon to show the entire length of the wedding dress. The cost of the material involved in making this dress was about $8000.
The World Record of ‘longest time to walk in space by a female’ has been achieved by Sunita Williamsfrom USA.
NASA Atronuat, Sunita Williams has set the world record for a woman to walk in space for the longest duration on July 14, 2012. Sunita set the record while she and her colleague Japan’s Akihiko Hoshide fixied the electric supply arrangements of the international space center. Sunita spent a total of 44 hours, 2 minutes strolling in space.

The hotel with the most number of rooms in the world is The Venetian, along with the adjacent Sands Expo Convention Center and The Palazzo Hotel and Casino Resort as a part of the largest five-diamond hotel and resort complex. The total hotel system consists of 4,049 suites, 4,059 hotel rooms, along with a 120,000-square-foot casino. The main hotel tower contains 36 stories and has a height of 475 feet (145 m). This Resort Hotel Casino has been designed by the company KlingStubbins. The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation.
The World Record of ‘largest telescope’ has been achieved by Large Binocular Telescope from Arizona, USA.
The world’s largest telescope is an optical telescope by the name of Large Binocular Telescope (LBT). This telescope is used for astronomical purposes and is located on Mount Graham (10,700-foot (3,300 m)) in the Pinaleno Mountains of south-eastern Arizona, and is a part of the Mount Graham International Observatory. The LBT has two 8.4 m (27 ft) wide mirrors and has the same light gathering ability as a 11.8 m (39 ft) wide single circular telescope with a detail of 22.8 m (75 ft) wide one.
The world record of “the biggest living rabbit’ in the world has been achieved by Darius (owned by Ms Annette Edwards) from Worcester, UK.
The rabbit ‘Darius’ weighs 22.225 kgs (appx. 49 lbs.) and is 4 ft 3 in tall from head to tail. The daily diet of the ‘Darius’ is twelve carrots, two bowls of rabbit mix, three apples, one cabbage and a plenty of hay. Ms. Annette Edwards who is the proud owner of Darius is a professional in raising rabbits of big size. Although having such a large body-stature, Darius is very gentle and docile. Also, his bulky size does not prevent him to be slow or sluggish but on the contrary he is very active and agile.
