The World Record “youngest player to win a Player of the Series award in men’s international cricket” has been achieved by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi from Tajpur, Bihar, India.

On Jul 26, 2026; at the age of Fifteen Years Three Months Thirty Days (15Y:03M:30D), Vaibhav (son of Ms. Aarti and Mr. Sanjiv Sooryavanshi) was adjudged the ‘Player of the Series’ following India’s 3–0 T20I series sweep over Zimbabwe, concluded with the third and final match at the Harare Sports Club, Harare, Zimbabwe.
