The World Record “tallest gudi” has been jointly achieved by Dainik Divya Marathi and Chandukaka Saraf Jewels from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, India.

On Mar 30, 2025; Fifty Five (55) ft. high gudi has been mounted at Jabinda ground to celebrate the beginning of Indian Hindu New Year ‘Gudi Padwa’.

The feat has been organized to exhibit the cultural heritage & collective spirit of the community.

Previous World Record:

The World Record ‘tallest gudi’ was achieved by Ujjain Smart City Limited from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. On Apr 02, 2022; gudi has been mounted at Fifty Two (52) feet height to celebrate the beginning of historical Indian new year ‘Vikram Samvat’. Program has been organized on the occasion of Gaurav Diwas of Ujjain.
