The World Record ‘surya namaskar performs at highest altitude’ has been achieved by Kiran S. from Mysuru, Karnataka, India.

On Jun 06, 2022; Mr. Kiran performed one hundred eight sets of Surya namaskar at base camp of mount friendship located at an altitude of Four Thousand Two Hundred (4200) meters.

The feat has been mentored by Dr. P. N. Ganesh Kumar from ‘Mysore Vivekananda Yoga Education & Research Institution’.
