The World Record ‘most siblings earned PhD degree’ has been achieved by Mr. Babu Rao and Ms. Ratnamma Deshmanya from Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India.

As on Oct 30, 2022; Six (06) daughters of Mr. & Ms. Deshmanya; viz. Dr. Samata B. Deshmane, Dr. Yugantri B. Deshmanya, Dr. Jagrathi B. Deshmanya, Jaishree Deshmanya, Dr. Indumathi B. Deshmanya and Dr. Nagarathana B. Deshmanya have been awarded the PhD degrees.
