The World Record ‘most pits dug through public participation’ has been achieved by CEO Zila Panchayat from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India.
On Jul 17, 2022; Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Seven (270477) pits have been dug through public participation for afforestation purpose.
Mr. Swapnil Wankhade (CEO, Zila Panchayat, Rewa) convened the initiative.
