The World Record of ‘most people in a reading relay’ has been achieved by IIMT University from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India.

On Feb 15, 2017; during the event ‘Adhyatm’ organized at IIMT University campus, Three Thousand One Hundred Five (3105) people read the book ‘Geeta’ in relay.

Previous world record :

The world record of “Most people in a reading relay” was achieved by non profit organization SRV SEWA (Shri Vision Social Empowerment & Welfare Association) during the programme Miracle of One on 05/11/11 at Indore, MP, India. wherein 351 Students at Vidya sagar school, Indore; read the book ‘A short life of shri Ramkrishna” in relay. 351 Students read the book ‘A short life of shri Ramkrishna” in relay. Every student read a sentence from 45 page book one after the other in relay.

Record was attempted to promote the education and reading habit. Programme Miracle of One was supported by leading news paper of Indore “Dainik Dabang Dunia”.
