The World Record of ‘most people belonging to a single community giving up alcohol simultaneously’ has been achieved by Baba Jai Guru Dev Dharm Vikas Sanstha at Kathmandu, Nepal.

On Nov 16, 2019; under the guidance of Sant Shri Umakantji Maharaj, One Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Four (1634) Tharu tribal people from Nepal gave up alcohol during a program organized at Tundi khel ka maidan, Kathmandu.
