The World Record “most countries visited in a continuous journey by a battery-powered electric vehicle” has been achieved by Rainer Zietlow from Germany.

During Jul 01, 2025 – Sep 14, 2026; Rainer Zietlow travelled across Ninety Two (92) countries in a Volkswagen ID. Buzz battery-powered electric vehicle, completing the journey in Four Hundred Forty One days.
