The World Record of ‘longest parade float’ in the world has been achieved by the Hua Tiande and Liancheng Baihua Chemical Company Ltd. from Gutian, Fujian, China.

The parade float was of the shape of a dragon and its total length was 791.5 meters (about 2597 feet). The eastern province of Fujian has a long history associated with the dragon. The participants in the parade had to face very rough weather to keep the parade float in air. The event on February 6, 2012; was organized to increase tourism in Gutian.
