The World Record of ‘longest line of socks’ has been achieved by The Sir Peter Blake Trust from Wellington, New Zealand.

As on June 30, 2011; the line of socks which was made to create the record had a total of Thirty Five Thousand One Hundred Twenty Eight (35128) socks. All the socks that were used to create the line were red in color.

Previous World Record:

The world record of the longest clothesline of socks was achieved by the Tripsdill Amusement from Germany in May 2010. The total length of the line was more than 2300 meters.
