The World Record of ‘largest human depiction of power symbol’ has been achieved by The International Association of Lions Clubs, District 323-C from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

On Jan 19, 2017; One Thousand One Hundred Twenty Five (1125) women stood together in the shape of power symbol to represent the power of women.

Mr. Amarjeet Singh Dutta convened the program.

Previous world record:

The World Record of ‘largest human depiction of power symbol’ was achieved by Regional Commission on Bangsamoro Women of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao from Lanao del Sur, ARMM, Philippines. On Feb 01, 2015; Seven Hundred Sixteen (716) women wearing yellow hijab and traditional malong stood together in the shape of power symbol. The record was aimed to emphasize women’s important role in nation building and intended to promote women’s right to decent livelihood.
