The World Record of ‘largest collection of rice germplasm accessions’ has been achieved by Indira Gandhi Agricultural University from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

On Dec 24, 2018; university exhibited Twenty Three Thousand Two Hundred Fifty (23250) rice germplasm accessions collected from Chhattisgarh region.

The World Record has been coordinated by Naval Kishore Rathi, Ideal 36 garh.
