The World Record of ‘largest collection of philatelic material on sports theme’ has been achieved by Mr. J V Israni from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Till Jul 11, 2018; Mr. Israni had a collection of One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixteen (1816) philatelic material on sports theme. The collection consists of postal stamps collected from 94 nations on the theme of various sports.
