Heaviest Deadlift

The World Record “heaviest deadlift” has been achieved by Hafthor Julius Bjornsson at, Kópavogur, Iceland.

On May 02, 2020; Mr. Hafþór aka ‘Thor’ deadlifted Five Hundred One (501) kg at Thor’s Power Gym, Kópavogur during an attempt sanctioned by the Worlds Ultimate Strongman. Mr. Hafþór is also popular by name ’The Mountain’ due to his role in the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’.

Previous World Records:

The World Record “heaviest deadlift” was achieved by Edward Stephen Hall from England, UK. In Jul, 2016; Mr. Hall Aka ‘The Beast’ deadlifted Five Hundred (500) kg at the World Deadlift Championships, part of Giants Live’s Europe’s Strongest Man competition. This was a significant moment as it was the first time anyone had deadlifted half a ton (500kg).

The World Record “heaviest deadlift” was achieved by Jerry Pritchett from USA. In 2016; Mr. Pritchett Aka ‘Iron Outlaw’ deadlifted Four Hundred Sixty Five (465) kg at Europe’s Strongest Man competition.

The World Record “heaviest deadlift” Was achieved by Benedikt Magnússon from Iceland. In 2016; Mr. Magnússon Aka ‘Benni’ deadlifted Four Hundred Sixty Five (465) kg at Europe’s Strongest Man competition.

The World Record “heaviest deadlift” was achieved by Edward Stephen Hall from England, UK. In 2016; Mr. Hall Aka ‘The Beast’ deadlifted Four Hundred Sixty Five (465) kg in the Arnold Strongman Classic.
