The world record of “Handloom Silk Sari with Highest number of Design Cards and Hooks” has been achieved by P. R. Subramania Chetty Co. from Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Sari named as ‘Pushpahara’ measures 5.92 m. length & 124.5 cm. width with weight of 1440 gm. It has been manufactured by using 146600 punched design cards and 1920 hooks.
