First to Land Human on Moon

The World Record “First to land human on the moon” has been achieved by National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) from the United States of America.

On July 20, 1969; NASA managed the landing of Apollo lunar module Eagle with astronauts Commander Neil Armstrong, lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin who stepped on moon’s surface and pilot Michel Collins who flew the command module Columbia.

Apollo was launched on July 16, 1969; through the rocket Saturn V from Kennedy Space Center. It landed on the moon at Tranquility Base, Mare Tranquillitatis 0.67416°N, 23.47314°E and successfully returned to Earth on Jul 24, 1969.
