First Inflatable Concert Hall

The World Record of building first inflatable concert hall has been achieved by British sculptor Anish Kapoor and Japanese architect Arata Isozaki of Matsushima, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

Ark Nova: giant purple balloon made of a coated polyester material has been erected at at northeastern coast. The structure measures about Eighteen (18) metres high and Thirty Five (35) metres wide when fully inflated, it creates enough room for about 500 people.
