The World Record of ‘fastest person to run 5000 meters with a 50 pounds rucksack’ has been achieved by Dustin McClure from Fort Benning, Georgia, USA.

Dustin set the world record in a time of 20.06 minutes carrying the 40 lbs (18.14 kg) rucksack on December 8, 2008. He was an all-conference runner at the Oklahoma State University.

Previous World Record:

The World Record for the ‘fastest person to run 5000 meters with a 50 lbs rucksack’ was achieved by Sergeant Jake Truex in Hanau, Germany on February 14, 2006. Jake ran the distance in 22.20 minutes.
