The World Record of ‘oldest abseiler’ has been achieved by Ms. Doris Long (101 years) at Portsmouth, UK.
In 2015; Ms. Doris aka Daring Doris descended 94 meters down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth at the age of One Hundred One (101) years. Her trip down the tower was in aid of the Rowan’s Hospice in Waterlooville. Doris started abseiling at the age of 85, this feat marked her 16th abseil for the organization.
The World Record of ‘oldest regular blood donor’ has been achieved by Mr. Maurice Creswick (90 years) from Johannesburg, South Africa.
On Jun 14, 2016; on occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Mr. Creswick did blood donation at the age of 90 years. So far he has donated 440 units (195.4 litres) of blood and continues to do so regularly. He had started donating blood at the age of 18 years in 1944.
The World Record of ‘youngest reciting the national anthem’ has been achieved by Master Vivaan Sarnaik (02 years 10 month 01 day) from Washim, Maharashtra, India.
On Jan 26, 2018; Vivaan (son of Dr. Yogita Sarnaik & Dr. Parag Sarnaik) recited the Indian national anthem at Sanskar Sadhna School.
The World Record of performing ‘fastest hundred meters limbo skating under cars’ has been achieved by Master Devisri Prasad Gandupalli (08 years 01 month 19 days) from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
On Aug 26, 2015; during an event, Devisri (son of Mr. G. Lokanatham & Ms. G. Padma) performed limbo skating under fifty three cars and travelled the 100 meters distance in 17.84 seconds.
The World Record of ‘Bharatanatyam dance performance with most number of props in one hour’ has been achieved by Baby Remona Evette Pereira (11 year 09 month 30 days) from Mangalore, Karnataka, India.
On Sept 15, 2017; baby Remona (daughter of Ms. Gladys Celine & Mr. Everest Pereira) performed the Indian classical dance Bharatanatyam with Twenty Five (25) props viz. glass pieces, pot, wooden roller, hula hoop, skates, lamp, pot on head etc.
