The World Record of ‘most people transplanting seedlings’ has been jointly achieved by Council of Agriculture Executive Yuan and Taoyuan County Farmers’ Association from Taoyuan, Chinese Taipei.
In an event organised by Council of Agriculture Executive Yuan, Twelve Hundred Fifteen (1215) people transplanted 30,0000 rice seedlings in two hectares area.
The World Record of ‘widest waterfall of the world’ has been achieved by The Khone Falls from Laos.
The Khone Falls also known as Chutes de Khone is the widest waterfall in the world. It is Thirty Five Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Six (35376) feet wide, which is almost twice the width of second widest waterfall; Pará Falls. The falls are part of the Mekong River in Laos and occur where the river splits into seven large and many smaller channels. It is made up of several different rapids and falls, cascading down 69 feet. The most defined part of the waterfall is a 45-foot drop, at an angle of 60 degree. About 410,000 cubic feet of water rush down this waterfall every single second.
The world Record of ‘costliest train station of the world’ has been achieved by the station Oculus from New York.
Initially budgeted at $2 billion, it has reached upto $3.85 billion, which made it the costliest station in the world. The building, designed by Spanish-Swiss architect Mr. Santiago Calatrava is a giant oval made up of steel ribs and glass laid out in elliptical shape, reaching for the sky like wings of a bird. The space measures 350 feet (107 meters) long by 115 feet (35 meters) at its widest point. The World Trade Center Transportation Hub, which is expected eventually to serve more than 200,000 commuters daily, is built next to the site of the Twin Towers, which were destroyed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.
The World Record of ‘preaching in mid-river’ has been achieved by Pithadhishwar Shri Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri from Champran, Chhattisgarh, India.
During December 26, 2015 – January 01, 2016; Jagatguru Shrimad Vallabhhacharya Pragatya Peeth Gruhadhipati Champaranya P. Pu. Goswami 108 Dwarkeshlalji Maharajshri delivered preaching from a yacht and audience also listened it from hundreads of boats floating in the river Yamuna at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.
The World Record of creating ‘calendar calculating days of ten thousand years’ has been achieved by Mr. Prashanth Chandran from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
On June 07, 2016; during an event at S P Grand Days Panavila, Mr. Prashanth has demonstrated the calendar which helps a person to calculate the day from any date since 1st AD to 10000 AD.
