McCormick has Forty Three Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Six (43, 356) bus tickets which he has used or has taken from other fellow passengers after use. McCormick developed this unusual habit of collecting bus tickets at the age of 9 when he used to commute to the local recreation center. The collection also includes seasonal and city passes of various places in the United Kingdom.

Susan has the largest collection of bags. . The total collection of her bags is Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Twenty One (14,521). The range of the bags found in her collection include party bags, shopping bags, school bags, laundry bags, accessory bags, travel bags and multi-purpose bags. She has bought most of the bags herself. Also, she gets frequent gifts in the form of bags because she only accepts bags as gifts
The World record of “Largest Collection of Label Pins” has been achieved by Arvind Sinha from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Arvind Sinha, 57 from Mumbai (India) has a collection of more than 30,000 pins. He is a business consultant and a Lion’s Club member, and has collected these pins from 80 countries. As a business consultant, Sinha travelled extensively all over the world and began collecting pins from hotels and airports.
Sinha explains that “Label pins are a symbol of the times and you can learn a lot through them. They are markers of world history events such as the American Civil War, the history of guns and American Presidents.”
The World Record of ‘longest time to hold breath under water’ was achieved by Tom Sietas from Germany.
Tom Sietas set this record by holding his breath under water for 22.22 minutes. Sietas has a lung capacity 20 percent larger than an average person his size. Sietas was dropped into a clear tank containing water cooled to 41 degrees Fahrenheit to help him relax and calm his body. He normally preps for an event by not eating for at least five hours prior in an effort to slow his metabolism and then filling his lungs with pure oxygen.
The World Record ‘most people washing hands simultaneously (multiple locations)’ has been achieved by Indian Red Cross Society at Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh, India.
On Oct 02, 2022; Four Hundred Thirty Nine Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Seven (439397) people washed their hands simultaneously at multiple locations.
Program has been organized on Gandhi Jayanti to tribute Mahatma Gandhi.
The world record of “Most people wearing paper hats” was achieved by non profit organization SRV SEWA (Shri Vision Social Empowerment & Welfare Association) during the programme Miracle of One on 10/11/11 at Indore, MP, India.
351 Students at Vidya Vijay Bal Mandir, Indore wore the paper hats for 11 minutes.
This record was attempted to promote the education as well as to protect the environment. Spreading the message of using papers in place polythene stuff was the first objective of the record while second and more important reason was to promote the use of recycling material like paper. Programme Miracle of One was supported by leading news paper of Indore “Dainik Dabang Dunia”.
