World Record of collecting ‘highest number of unduplicated Stamps and other philatelic material on Sir Rowland Hill’ has been achieved by Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

Dr. Singh has collected 1671 (One Thousand Six Hundred and Seventy One) unduplicated Stamps and other philatelic material published on Sir Rowland Hill; the inventor and originator of Modern Postal system as on March 16, 2013. His collection consists of 706 stamps, 186 MS/SS, 275 FDCs, 134 sheets and other material.

The World Record of ‘longest chain of helmets’ has been achieved by Keppel Offshore Marine Limited Sentosa Island, Singapore.

At Siloso Beach, Sentosa Island, Singapore on October 21, 2007; longest Chain of Helmets made with eighteen Thousand (18,000) safety helmets measured 5,664 m (18,582 ft).

Haviest Insect

The World Record of “heaviest insect” has been achieved by the Giant Weta species of New Zealand.

This particular specimen was found by a nature observer and discoverer called Mark Moffett. This insect was found in a remote island of New Zealand called the Little Barrier Island. There are over more than seventy types of Weta species in New Zealand but the Giant Weta is the biggest insect in the world because of its weight. The Giant Weta species resembles a cricket in appearance and is endemic to the Little Barrier Island. This particular insect weighed 71 gms. and had a wing-span of seven inches.

Dialysis Of Oldest Person

The World Record of “dialysis of oldest person” has been achieved by SDM College of Dental Sciences from Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru hospital, Raipur, Chattisgarh, India.

Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru hospital of Raipur has the distinct Word Record to have successfully conducting the dialysis of a person aged 100 years. The 100 year old woman comes from the Ambikapur region of the state of Chattisgarh in Central India. Her body was anemic and she suffered from a renal failure before being admitted to the hospital.

The World Record of the ‘longest hair on an individual’s head’ has been achieved by Ms. Xie Quiping from Lifu Guilin, China.

The total length of Ms. Quiping’s hair is measured to be 5.627 m (18 ft 5.54 in). Xie Quiping was born in 1960 and has been growing hair from the age of 13. She has never stopped growing her hair.

Largest Cupcake

The world record for the ‘largest cupcake’ has been achieved by Duff Goldman of the Food Network from Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.

The total weight of the cupcake was 61.4 pounds (27.86 kgs) and its height was more than 12”. Duff Goldman used 6 pounds of butter, 10 pounds of sugar, and three ounces of food coloring to make the cupcake. Cupcake was made on March 30, 2008 at the Mall of America in Minneapolis.
