The World Record of ‘largest flower garden’ has been achieved by Miracle Garden Dubai.
Dubai Miracle Garden; located in Dubailand near the Arabian Ranches has more than 45 million flowers over a 72,000 sq metre site. Traditional flowerbeds are featured topiary-style displays with blooms fashioned into the shapes of hearts, stars, igloos, pyramids and so on. The sites are developed by the landscaping company Akar.
The World Record of most people passing books’ has been achieved by people of Riga Latvia.
On January 18, 2014; more than 14,000 people, including children and the elderly, stood in temperatures of 10°F (-12°C) and passed some 2,000 books hand to hand to a new library.
The World Record ‘most paintings drawn on a personality at a single location’ has been achieved by Harihareshwar Gramvikas Pratisthan from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.
On 17 March, 2013 Harihareshwar Gramvikas Pratisthan organized an event in which children of various age group drawn 1111 (One Thousand One Hundred eleven) paintings on ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ at Edgaon, Ahmednagar.
Event was coordinated by Mr. Amol Bagul and supported by Shri Samarth Vidya Mandir Prashala, Snehalaya’s Balbhavan and Dadawadi.
The World Record of ‘eating the most number of doughnuts in one minute’ has been achieved by Liam Scotsky of Prague Czech Republic.
On February 24, 2013; Liam performed the feat at the annual convention of an organization to raise charity funds to spread awareness on AIDS. Liam consumed seven (7) full doughnuts in a period of one minute but could only finish only a small portion of the eighth doughnut. The measuring parameter for eating was chewing as well as swallowing of this food item.
The World Record of ‘writing smallest Shri Madbhagwat Geeta’ has been achieved by Mr. Satyanarayan Gocher Anta, Baran, Rajasthan.
Mr. Gocher has written the world’s smallest Shri Madbhagwat Geeta that measured 1.75 cm length, 1.5 cm width and 0.75 cm thickness. Book contains 700 shlokas in 148 pages.
