The World Record of ‘most authors in a reading relay’ has been achieved by Irish Writers Centre, Dublin, Ireland.

On June 15-16, 2012; One Hundred Eleven (111) authors participated in the record and read from their work for 15 minutes each for continuous 28 hours. Participants included Nobel Laureate to Booker Prize winners.

A total of Two Thousand Six Hundred Forty (2640) employees of Genentech, Inc.; a biotechnology company that produces research in fields such as oncology, immunology, and neuroscience gathered and stood in the shape of the DNA helix.

The World Record of ‘largest collection of used disposable syringes’ has been achieved by Dr. D. K. Devdhar from Surajpur, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

As on March 20, 2014; Dr. Devdhar has collection of Two Thousand One Hundred (2100) used disposable syringes. Collection has been done with-in a period of one month at Devdhar Medical Center.
