Highest Flying Birds

The World Record of ‘highest flying birds’ has been achieved by Bar-headed Goose (Anser indicus) from Central Asia.

The Bar Headed Goose is recorded to have flown to an amazing height of 10175 m (33,382 feet). Thus they can easily cross the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest which has an altitude of 8,848 m (29,028 feet). the Bar-headed goose reaches the extra-ordinary height by smartly flapping their wings. This is the reason why these geese don’t depend on the tail-wind on the Himalayan range; in fact they deny the winds and starts climbing up high altitude when the wind blows out. The bird’s body is specially made to meet this exceptional capability. More red-blood cells and more capillaries than normal birds deliver their muscles more oxygen than others.

The World Record of ‘largest spoon’ in the world has been achieved by the Centrul Cultural from Mioveni, Romaia.

As on June 7, 2013; the length of the spoon is 17.79 meters (58 feet, 4.39 inches) and is 1.50 meters (4 feet, 11 inches) at the widest point. The spoon is actually a giant replica of the traditional Romanian Spoon. The largest wooden spoon has been made by the Centrul Cultural; a Cultural Activities Center of Mioveni.

Previous world Record:

The World Record for the largest spoon in the world was achieved by the city of Minneapolis Minnesota. The spoon is located in a city garden and has a length of 52 foot.
