The World Record ‘biggest clock’ has been achieved by Abraj Al-Bait Towers from Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The massive 1983 foot Mecca Royal Hotel Clock Tower also known as the The Abraj Al-Bait Towers sporting four timekeeping faces each 151 feet (43 meter) in diameter. The clock don text reading “in the Name of Allah” running beneath the clock faces in the local script as well as 21,000 green and white lights that flash five times daily which can be spotted from more than 18 miles away.

These towers are a part of the King Abdulaziz Endowment Project that strives to modernize the city in catering to its pilgrims. The developer and contractor of the complex is the Saudi Binladin Group, the Kingdom’s largest construction company.

The World Record of ‘most people performing a high five simultaneously’ has been achieved by The Kroger Co. from Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

On April 16, 2013 Four Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Nine (4699) persons achieved the record at Kentucky Exposition Centre during the meeting attended by former University of Louisville coach Denny Crum.

The World Record of ‘largest number of drawings made by toes in one hour’ has been achieved by Ms. Damini Sen (17 years) from Maa Banjari Gurukul Vidyalaya, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

As on Feb 09, 2015; Nirbhaya made Thirty Eight (38) drawings by toes in one hour.

Heaviest Tomato

The World Record ‘heaviest tomato’ has been achieved by Gigantomo from Spalding, Lincolnshire, UK.

On January 23, 2015; Simon Crawford and seed seller Van Meuwen has grown heaviest tomato of 7 lbs 14 oz. Gigantomo tomatoes can only be bought from Lincolnshire seed seller Van Meuwen, which has launched them in their spring 2015 plant collection. The new tomato plants, called Gigantomo, can grow to 6ft tall and yield as many as 11 tomatoes and can grow enormous fruits up to 10 inches wide and as heavy as 3lbs – about 12 times the size of an average salad tomato.

The World Record ‘heaviest tomato’ was achieved by G. Graham from Edmond, Oklahoma, USA. The tomato weighed 3.51 kg (7 lb 12 oz).

The World Record ‘heaviest tomato’ was achieved by Ian Neale from Newport, South Wales, UK. The tomato weighed 2.26kg.

The World Record of ‘physically writing, counting and classifying words of a news paper’ has been achieved by Mr. Uddhao Govind Alkari from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Mr. Alkari has physically wrote, counted and classified words from the initial eight pages of news paper ‘Times of India’ to draw statistical inference of a news paper printing.

Largest Collection of Acupuncture Needles

The World Record of ‘largest collection of acupuncture needles’ has been achieved by Dr. B. S. Taneja from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

As on Dec 30, 2014; Dr. Taneja has a collection of Ten Thousand Six Hundred Forty (10640) acupuncture needles. Dr. Taneja had kept a needle while curing a patient.
