The World Record of ‘Most flashes of lightning’ has been achieved by Venezuela.
There is a spectacular place in Venezuela where the Catatumbo River empties into Lake Maracaibo.It is at this precise place of the joining of these two water bodies, that an everlasting lightning storm has been taking place nearly each day. These powerful lightning storms can produce up to 20,000 flashes of lightning each night. Lightning storm lasts for about 10 hours each day with approximately 280 bolts per hour. This phenomenon occurs due to the landscape of the area; viz. the lake, the swampy plains surrounding the lake and the Andes Mountain ridge.
The World Record of ‘most reverse rope skipping on one leg in a minute’ has been achieved by Mr. Saurabh Singh Jagrit from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
On March 19, 2016; Saurabh did One Hundred Eighty Five (185) reverse rope skipping on one leg in a minute.
The World Record of ‘most dresses gifted by a husband to wife’ has been achieved by Mr. Paul Brockmanfrom Lomita, California, USA.
Till Dec 31, 2014; Mr. Brockman has gifted his wife Margot with 25,000 dresses. Mr. Paul and Ms. Margot have a passion for dance and they go ballroom dancing every week, and Mr. Paul gifts his wife a different dress every time since 1988.
The World Record of ‘most people in shot-put relay’ has been achieved by O. P. Jaiswal Sir Physical Training Society from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
On March 07, 2016; Seven Hundred Eighty Two (782) people shot put in a relay.
