The World Record of ‘most sandals held on hands in one minute’ has been achieved by Ms. Xing Lee from Bandung, Indonesia.
On March 19, 2015; during an event Ms. Lee one by one picked up and held Twenty One (21) sandals on both the hands in a minute.
The World Record of ‘largest Collection of books signed by authors’ has been achieved by Mr. Richard Warren from Lake Forest, California, USA.
Mr. Warren has a collection of Two Thousand Three Hundred Eighty One (2381) books all signed by their original authors. Mr. Warren started building his personal library in 1970 at the age of 16. Over the years he travelled and spoke around the world asking authors to autograph their books for him. Afterwards many other authors began to send him their books autographed.
The World Record of ‘most people running 100 meters in One hour relay’ has been jointly achieved by Lebanon High School and Watertown High School from Lebanon, Tennessee, USA.
On April 19; Two Hundred Fifty Two (252) people run 100 metres in One hour relay.
The World Record of ‘largest wetland’ has been achieved by Panjin Red Beach from Panjin, Liaoning, China.
It spans over 51 square miles of coastal land. The soil is incredibly saline. Panjin Red Beach lies on the Shuangtaizi River estuary, just outside of Panjin city. Red Beach is famous for its landscape featuring the red plant of Seepweed (Suaeda salsa of the Chenopodiaceae family). Seepweed needs the saline conditions to grow. The seepweed matures in autumn then its leaves turn a deep red colour. Entire Panjin Red Beach is covered with it hence many Chinese people have dubbed it ‘red carpet beach’. The entire wetland is considered a protected area, as it’s also home to more than 260 varieties of birds and around 400 species of wildlife.
The World Record of ‘fastest climbing the seven summits by a woman’ has been achieved by Ms. Maria Gordon from Washington, USA.
On June 17, 2016; Ms. Maria (Masha) Gordon reached at the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, Australia and achieved the World Record of fastest climbing the seven summits by a woman in 238 days 23 hours and 30 minutes. Ms. Gordon begun with Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) then Mount Vinson (Antarctica), Mount Aconcagua (Argentina), Mount Carstensz (Indonesia), Mount Elbrus (Russia), Mount Everest (Nepal), Mount McKinley (USA) and finally climbed Mount Kosciuszko (Australia) and achieved the World Record.
The World Record of ‘largest glass bottle mosaic’ has been achieved by HOMEX Co., Ltd from Toyota, Aichi, Japan.
On Aug 31, 2014; Seven Thousand Four Hundred Twenty (7420) bottles were placed to form the largest glass bottle mosaic.
