The World Record of ‘largest eagle of the world’ has been achieved by Pithecophaga jefferyi from Philippines.
The Philippine eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) also known as the monkey-eating eagle or great Philippine eagle, is an eagle of the family Accipitridae endemic to forests in the Philippines. It has brown and white-coloured plumage, and a shaggy crest, and generally measures 86 to 102 cm (2.82 to 3.35 ft) in length and weighs 4.7 to 8.0 kilograms (10.4 to 17.6 lb). It is the largest of the extant eagles in the world in terms of length and wing surface.
The World Record of ‘singing a duet song from farthest distance’ has been jointly achieved by Shân Cothi from Cardiff, UK and Andres Evans from Gaiman, Argentina.
On Jun 05, 2015; Shân and Andres performed CalonLân, a Welsh hymn. The distance between Shân (UK) and Andres (Argentina) singing the duet was Twelve Thousand One Hundred Twenty (12120) km. Both sides of the duet came together live in the control room in Cardiff.
The World Record of ‘longest fashion show’ has been achieved by Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show at Miami, Florida, USA.
During Nov 07-08, 2014; the longest fashion show organized by Cotton Incorporated and People magazine lasted for Twenty Four hour Twenty Eight seconds (24H : 28S). The fashion show featured 60 models who exhibited 4000 clothings.
