The World Record of ‘oldest regular blood donor’ has been achieved by Mr. Maurice Creswick (90 years) from Johannesburg, South Africa.
On Jun 14, 2016; on occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Mr. Creswick did blood donation at the age of 90 years. So far he has donated 440 units (195.4 litres) of blood and continues to do so regularly. He had started donating blood at the age of 18 years in 1944.
The World Record of ‘largest audience at a book reading (single author)’ has been achieved by General Command of Gendarmerie Ministry of Interior at Ankara, Turkey.
On May 18, 2017; Five Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Four (5754) people listened to the book Ayyildiz Ruhu authored by Ömer Gürdal.
