The world record of ‘first virtual shopping store’ has been achieved by Tesco Homeplus from Seoul, South Koria.
In July 2014; using the walls of the Seonreung subway station in downtown Seoul, Tesco has displayed all the products on the LCD screens. Products are displayed with barcodes which customers can scan using the Homeplus app on their smartphones and get delivered right to their doorstep.
