The World Record of ‘first father-son duo to climb Mount Everest’ has been achieved by Peter Hillary and Sir Edmund Hillary.
Hillary family is the first father-son duo to climb Mount Everest. Mr. Peter Hillary touched the summit in 1990 while his father Sir Edmund Hillary had created the history back on May 29, 1953 by climbing the summit of Mount Everest for the first time. Thus Hillarys are the ‘first family’ of Himalayan mountaineering with two generations of Everest climbers.
The World Record of ‘first couple married on top of the mount Everest’ has been achieved by Mr. Pem Dorjee and Ms. Moni Mulepati from Nepal.
On May 30, 2005; Pem & Moni reached at Mt. Everest and got married at 29035 feet height of Mt. Everest. They are the first couple to be married on the top in the history of climbing. Both were part of the Rotary Centennial Everest Expedition.
The World Record of ‘longest telecasted daily show on medicinal use of herbs’ has been achieved by Acharya Balkrishna ji of Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust from Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India.

On Nov 13, 2016; group of poets recited their poems during three hour journey in Gurgaon Rapid Metro to participate in poetry contest titled ‘poetry on wheels’.
