The World Record ‘most number of plastic bottles collected in 24 hours’ has been collectively achieved by the students of Sugg Middle, Braden River High, Nolan Middle and Braden River Middle School from Brandenton, Florida, USA.
On April 2, 2010; the event was the culmination of a yearlong recycling campaign. The total number of plastic bottles collected in the drive was Sixty Five Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy (65970). The event was organized in anticipation of the Earth Day. The record breaking event highlighted the importance of recycling and the hazards of using excessive synthetic and plastic materials in the modern daily lifestyle. The collected bottles were sent to the Recorce Rcovey Center system of Sarasota.
The World Record of ‘largest collection of Dog memorabilia’ has been achieved by Mr. Pradip Kumar Janawade from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
On December 27, 2015; Mr. Janawade has a collection of 991 (Nine Hundred Ninety One) dog memorabilia consist of postal stamps, posters, stickers, books, models, toys, wall hangings, mugs, pen holders, telephone-set, night-lamps and other show pieces depicting dogs.
The World Record of ‘largest collection of hand-made glass painting work’ has been achieved by Dr. Alpana Deshpande and Ms. Aditi Deshpande from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
As on November 27, 2014; Ms. Deshpande has a collection of 5040 (Five Thousand Forty) hand-made glass painting work.
The World Record of ‘largest collection of baseballs’ has been achieved by Mr. Dennis Schrader from Odessa, Florida, USA.
Dennis has a collection of Four Thousand Twenty (4020) baseballs that are signed by Major League Baseball players, which gives him the distinction of having the largest private autographed baseball collection in the world. Mr. Schrader has been collecting signed baseballs by Major League Baseball players.
Adding to this collection figure is a set of baseballs which are signed by non-baseball celebrities including political and Hollywood stalwarts which amounts the collection to more than 4,600 baseballs.
The World Record of ‘largest collection of carrom coins and strikers’ in the world has been achieved by Mr. Pawel Wrobel from Poland.
Till March 13, 2013; Mr. Wrobel had collected Four Hundred Forty (440) different carrom coins and Seven Hundred Twenty (720) strikers of different designs.
