The World Record of ‘biggest printed holy Quran’ has been achieved by the museum of the Quran from Bolgar, Spassky, Republic of Tatarstan.
The biggest holy Quran printed on Scotland paper is 150×200 cm with has 632 pages. It weighs 800 kilograms and its 120 kilograms frame cover is tinseled with gold and silver.
The World Record of ‘largest human depiction of power symbol’ has been achieved by The International Association of Lions Clubs, District 323-C from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
On Jan 19, 2017; One Thousand One Hundred Twenty Five (1125) women stood together in the shape of power symbol to represent the power of women.
The World Record of ‘largest wetland’ has been achieved by Panjin Red Beach from Panjin, Liaoning, China.
It spans over 51 square miles of coastal land. The soil is incredibly saline. Panjin Red Beach lies on the Shuangtaizi River estuary, just outside of Panjin city. Red Beach is famous for its landscape featuring the red plant of Seepweed (Suaeda salsa of the Chenopodiaceae family). Seepweed needs the saline conditions to grow. The seepweed matures in autumn then its leaves turn a deep red colour. Entire Panjin Red Beach is covered with it hence many Chinese people have dubbed it ‘red carpet beach’. The entire wetland is considered a protected area, as it’s also home to more than 260 varieties of birds and around 400 species of wildlife.
The World Record of ‘largest toast mosaic’ has been achieved by Ms. Laura Hadland from Warrington, Cheshire, UK.
Toast Loving Ms. Hadland turned a photo of her mother-in-law into the world’s largest toast mosaic by arranging Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Two (9852) slices of breads toasted at varying degrees to create the mosaic of size 32 ft 8i n x 42 ft 3 in.
The World Record of ‘largest sculpture of corn ears’ has been achieved by Corn Palace from South Dakota, USA.
The 120-year-old building ‘Corn Palace’ is decorated completely with several thousand ears of corn. The walls covered with intricate murals on the exterior, and new ones are put up each year. Sporting events, concerts and other community activities are held here on an annual basis.
