The Wold Record of ‘longest chess marathon’ has been jointly achieved by Mr. Magne Sagafos and Mr. Joachim Berg-Jensen from Stavanger, Norway.

During June 22-24, 2015; Mr. Sagafos and Mr. Berg-Jensen played the chess for 40 hr 42 min. The World Record was attempted to promote the chess in Norway.

largest cedar bucket of the world made of red cedar wood can holds One Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Six (1556) gallons, and stands six feet tall & six feet wide at the base.

Largest Origami Boat Mosaic

The World Record of ‘largest origami boat mosaic’ has been achieved by IIMT University from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India.

On March 20, 2017; during the celebration of International Happiness Day, One Thousand Five Hundred (1500) origami boats were arranged in the mosaic illustrating ‘smiley’ with diameter of Seven feet.

Largest Book Signing Marathon by an Author

The World Record of ‘largest book signing marathon by an author in a single sit’ has been achieved by Mr. Orrin Woodward from Columbus, Ohio, USA.

On June 21, 2014; Mr. Woodward signed Six Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Six (6786) books. He signed the new book ‘And Justice for All’ (Obstacles Press and Next Century Publishing) at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus in 6 hours and 33 minutes.

Smallest Mammal

The world record of ‘smallest mammal’ has been achieved by Etruscan shrew (Suncus estruscus) from North America.

Also known as the Etruscan Pygmy shrew or the white toothed Pygmy shrew is the smallest known mammal by mass. It weighs only 1.2 to 2.7 g(about 1.8 grams on average) and considered as world’s smallest mammal. The Etruscan shrew has a body length of about 4 centimeters (1.6 in) excluding the tail. These shrews prefer warm and damp climates and are widely distributed in the belt between 10 degree and 30 degree N latitude stretching from Europe and North Africa up to Malaysia. It is also found in the Maltese islands, which is situated in the middle of the Mediterranean sea.

The World Record of ‘largest human depiction of a flower’ has been achieved by Rochester Lilac Festival from Rochester, New York, USA.

On May 09, 2014; Two Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Seven (2297) people at Highland Park stood in the shape of a lilac bloom. The World Record was created to celebrate the inauguration of the annual Lilac Festival.
