The World Record of ‘longest eco sound’ has been achieved by Inchindown Tunnels from Invergordon, Scotland, UK.

In the oil tank dug into the hillside, acoustic scientists fired a pistol to hear how long the reverb would last. The resulting echo rang on and on and on for One minute and 52 seconds. The tank has walls 17.7 inches (45 cm) thick. The space is about 30 feet (9 meters) wide and 44 feet (13.5 meters) high.

Largest Assembly of Tribal Archers

The World Record of ‘largest assembly of tribal archers’ has been achieved by Akhil Bharatiya Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

In an event during December 26-28, 2014; Two Hundred Thirty One (231) archers from 22 states of India gathered at Vagdevi Vilas School and participated in archery contest.

Fastest Two-Way Canopy Formation

The world record ‘fastest two-way canopy formation’ has been achieved by the team from USA.

The three-member team of Chris Gay, Brian Pangburn and Yiliya Pangburn set a record of 45 points in time in the Canopy Formation (CF) during Dubai International Parachuting Championship (DIPC) held at the Skydive Dubai.

In this record category; teams of three-of which two jumpers perform a mid-air formations in a working time of one minute while the third jumper has to do recording of the moves as videographer.

The World Record of ‘most personalities interviewed in six hours’ has been achieved by Ms. Sonal Rajesh Sharma from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

As on November 24, 2014; Ms. Sharma interviewed 34 (Thirty Four) World Record holders in six hours telephonically to write articles on their achievement.

First Virtual Shopping Store

The world record of ‘first virtual shopping store’ has been achieved by Tesco Homeplus from Seoul, South Koria.

In July 2014; using the walls of the Seonreung subway station in downtown Seoul, Tesco has displayed all the products on the LCD screens. Products are displayed with barcodes which customers can scan using the Homeplus app on their smartphones and get delivered right to their doorstep.

The World Record of ‘largest hand paddle’ has been achieved by Mark Teasdale from Rocky Mountains, Golden BC, Canada.

The largest hand paddle is based on an actual paddle, this proportionally correct monolith measures 18.573 m (60.9 feet) x 2.8 m (9.2 feet) and have weight of 2404 kg (5300 lbs). It has been nestled below the towering Canadian Rocky Mountains of the surrounding Columbia River near Golden BC.
