World Record of ‘oldest man in the world’ has been achieved by Jiroemon Kimura from Japan.
Jiroemon is 115 years old; he was born 19 April 1897 in Japan. The super-centenarian has 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren, the youngest being an 11-month-old great-great-grandson. He worked in a post office for about 40 years before turning to farming after his retirement, continuing until the age of 90. Kimura also occasionally reads newspapers because he does not want to ‘lose track of things going.

The world’s tallest 10 tier human pyramid consist of 300 people was made by Castellers de Vilafranca a cultural and sporting association of Spain on August 22, 2011 on the occasion Gokulashtami festival. The event was organized by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and NGO Sangharsh.

World Record of ‘tallest building in the world’ has been achieved by Burj Khalifa from Dubai, UAE.
Burj Khalifa: World’s Tallest Building has height of 828 m (2,716 ft 6 in) stands in Dubai, UAE. The building was formally known as Burj Dubai but later on it was renamed as Burj Khalifa (Khalifa Tower). The building was developed by Emaar Properties and the building construction began on September 21, 2004 with the exterior of the structure completed on October 01, 2009. The building officially opened on January 04, 2010. The building was made in the honor of the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayad al –nahyan. The cost of project was $1.5 Billion.
World Record of ‘most people shaving with electric shaver at multiple locations’ has been jointly achieved by Panasonic Corp and soccer club Gamba Osaka from Japan.
On November 3, 2011 Panasonic Corp and soccer club Gamba Osaka (one of the teams of the Japanese national football league known as J-League) jointly set a record of most people shaving with an electric shaver using Panasonic’s 5 blade wet and dry shaver ‘lamdash’ at multiple venue. One Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty One (1981) participants were involved at 18 venues in 9 cities, the main record attempt venues were Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka, Seoul, Hong Kong and Taipei.
