The World Record of ‘largest solar-powered boat’ has been achieved by expedition leader Raphaël Domjan of the TÛRANOR PlanetSolar from Monaco.
A crew of fiveunder expedition leader Raphaël Domjan; piloted the 31-meter (102-ft) long, 15-meter (49-ft) wide vessel, which is covered in 537 square meters (5,780 sq ft) of solar panels. These provide power to four electric motors (two located in each hull), that have a maximum output of 120 kW and can propel the boat to a speed of 14 knots. It is constructed mainly of a light yet durable carbon fiber-sandwich material. The world’s largest solar-powered boat the ‘TÛRANOR PlanetSolar’ from Monaco became the first boat to sail around the world using nothing but the power of the Sun. It arrived back in Monaco after 18 months (September 27, 2010- May 04, 2012) spent circumnavigating the planet and succeed in the first journey around the world with solar energy.

Duda Bündchen has set a world record of being the youngest fashion designer at the age of Five (5 years). She is working for Brazilian clothing company ‘Brandili Mund’i. Duda Bunchen is niece to famous model Gisele Bundchen.
The World Record of ‘largest collection of toy cars’ has been achieved by Dr. Hank Hammer from San Antonia, TX, USA.
Dr. Hank has Thirty Six Thousand Four Hundred Forty Five (36,445) Model Cars (duplicates included). The majority being of the Porsche marquee that he has been collecting since 1968.
The World Record of ‘most number of left handed children writing exam simultaneously’ has been jointly achieved Indian Left Hander’s Club and Patrika from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
On January 26 2012; Indian Left Hander’s Club in association with Patrika; a leading news paper of India organized ‘The National Scholarship Test for Left Handed Junior Genius’ at Indore. In this unique test; for the very first time 600 Left Handed boys and girls of age group 05-17 years participated in the scholarship test and wrote the examination simultaneously.
The world record of being ‘youngest film director’ has been achieved by Krishen Shrikanth (9 years) from Banglore, India.
Krishen directed the movie at the age of Nine (9). Kid directed C/o Footpath (India, 2006), about an orphaned boy who wants to go to school. The film was adapted from a short story he wrote himself, and the cast includes prominent Indian actors Jackie Shroff, Saurabh Shukla, and Thaara. Kishan himself played the lead. The movie was in Kannada language.
