The World Record of ‘largest telescope’ has been achieved by Large Binocular Telescope from Arizona, USA.

The world’s largest telescope is an optical telescope by the name of Large Binocular Telescope (LBT). This telescope is used for astronomical purposes and is located on Mount Graham (10,700-foot (3,300 m)) in the Pinaleno Mountains of south-eastern Arizona, and is a part of the Mount Graham International Observatory. The LBT has two 8.4 m (27 ft) wide mirrors and has the same light gathering ability as a 11.8 m (39 ft) wide single circular telescope with a detail of 22.8 m (75 ft) wide one.

The World Record of ‘fastest reverse writing in one minute’ has been achieved by J K. Prathikshana (15 years 08 months 23 days) from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

On Sep 26, 2020; Prathikshana (daughter of Ms. J. Kanchana & Mr. C. Jagadeesan) has written One Hundred Eighty Eight (188) alphabets in reverse writing in one minute.

Most People Dressed as Superman

The World Record of ‘most people dressed as Superman simultaneously’ has been achieved by Nexen from Calgary, Canada.

On 28 September 2011; Nexen: the Canadian energy company organized the event in which Four Hundred Thirty Seven (437) employees of the company took part and dressed as Superman. All these employees stood for 10 minutes to break the record. Each costume had the particular specifications as a whole blue body, red underpants, a S on chest of red and yellow color, a yellow belt and red shoes or boots with cover of red accompanied by a red cape. The company as well as the staff members shared the expenses of the costumes. The name of the event was “Be a superhero and was a drive to create awareness among people in order to explain the importance of charity in life and society. Event was organized for raising funds for a noble cause.

The World Record “Fastest Calculation of LCM” has been achieved by Sayyad Rehan Ali from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Mr. Rehan has calculated the least common multiple (LCM) of 125 two digit numbers. Maximum time of a LCM calculation was 4 seconds.

Sayyad Rehan Ali had attempted the record in the programme Miracle of One an initiative of Non Profit Organization SRV SEWA (Shri Vision Social Empowerment & Welfare Association) on 05/11/12 at J. J. Public School, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
