The World Record of ‘most elbow claps in one minute’ has been achieved by Grace Ederle from Boulder, Colorado, USA.
Grace completed One Hundred Forty Seven (147) elbow claps in one minute. During the record attempt on February 20, 2013; elbows were touching during each clap and hands remained on the rib cage.
The World Record ‘most number of squats in an hour’ has been achieved by Anurag Jha from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Mr. Jha performed Two Thousand Three Hundred (2300) squats in an hour. Mr. Anurag Jha had attempted the record at Barbarian Gym, Indore; under the programme Miracle of One: an initiative of Non Profit Organization SRV SEWA (Shri Vision Social Empowerment & Welfare Association) on January 01, 2013.
The world record of “largest religious gathering of people at single location” has been achieved by Kumbh Mela held in Allahabad, U.P., India.
Kumbh Mela held in Allahabad from 14th Jan, 2013 to 10th March 2013 holds the record for the Worlld’s Largest Religious gathering. The number of people attending the Kumbh Mela in the year 2013 is more than 80 million. Kumbh Mela is a festival involving mass Hidu pilgrimage. It is held every third year in four different cities in India namely Ujjain, Nashik, Allahabad and Haridwar on a rotational basis. Thus, each of the above mentioned cities gets a chance to host the Kumbh Mela every twelve years.
The World Record of ‘biggest coffee cup mosaic’ has been achieved by DFS Hawaii at DFS Galleria Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
On Aug 10, 1012; during an event the mosaic was made by Five Thousand Six Hundred Forty Two (5,642) cups of coffee with 10 different shades depicting the face of Elvis Presley measuring 4.9 m x 7.6 m (16 feet wide, 25 feet long).
The World Record of creating ‘artful alphanumeric pictures’ has been achieved by Puppala Bapiraju from Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Mr. Bapiraju has drawn unique pictures using the numbers 1 – 100 & alphabets A – Z and creatively converted them into images of objects, cartoons and art. Pictures drawn by Mr. Bapiraju are learning enhancing for children.
