Longest Distance Traveled with a Football Balanced on the Head

The World Record of traveling longest distance with a football balanced on the head has been achieved by Mr. Abdul Halim from Magura, Bangladesh.

Mr. Halim traveled 15.2 km (9.44 mi) with a football balanced on the head at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 22 October 2011.

Previous World Record:

The World Record of travelling longest distance with a football balanced on the head was achieved by Yee Ming Low from Malaysia. On August 21, 2009; Low had completed 11.129 kilometres distance at the Subang Jaya Municipality Stadium Selangor.

The World Record of ‘Longest Open Mural Art Gallery’ has been achieved by Purkhauti Muktangan developed by Department of Culture and Tourism, Government of Chhattisgarh from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

As on Sept 28, 2013; this longest open mural art gallery has length of 8571 (Eight Thousand Five Hundred Seventy One) square feet with hundreds of mural paintings on the outer wall of Purkhauti Muktangan campus depicting the mythological stories of India and tribal of Chhattisgarh.

Smallest Artwork on Mustard Seeds

The World Record of creating smallest art work on mustard seed has been achieved by Mr. Mintu Dey from Bangladesh.

Miniature artist Mintu Dey has created 15 (Fifteen) pieces of art works on mustard seed. Among various art works on mustard seed; creation of world map as well as colourful flags of 17 countries on a mustard seed where there are gaps in between every side of the flags are most prominent. Mr. Dey made all his miniature pieces without the use of a magnifying glass.

The World Record of Collecting ‘largest number of hand-made greeting cards’ has been achieved by Dr. Alpana Deshpande from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

As on November 10, 2013; Dr. Deshpande has collection of 12345 (Twelve Thousand Three Hundred Forty Five) hand-made greeting cards. She has been making the greeting cards on various themes viz. festivals, environment and health issues etc. since more than 25 years.
