The World Record of ‘largest collection of antique spectacles’ in the world has been achieved by Mr. Larry Weber from Boston, USA.
Till December 27, 2012; Ms. Weber had collected Six Hundred Fifty (650) antique spectacles of different shapes, sizes and designs. All antique spectacles are manufactured before 1970.
The World Record of ‘first poetry book on a city’ has been achieved by Mr. Suraj Nagar from Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The book titled ‘Burhanpur Paryatan Parikrama’ is a unique collection of hundred poems written on the city and various monuments and places of Burhanpur.
The World Record of ‘largest underwater wedding’ has been achieved by Ewa Staronska and Pawel Burkowski from Jaworzno, Poland.
On August 27, 2011; Three Hundred Three (303) divers attended the marriage ceremony of Ewa Staronska and Pawel Burkowski at the Koparki Diving Base. The wedding was also preceded by priest and licensed frogman. The wedding ceremony was organised by Orka Group Ltd.
The World Record ‘most people learning the preparation of ORS (multiple locations)’ has been jointly achieved by Chhattisgarh Academy of Pediatrics headed by Dr. Jayesh Kavadya and Mahavir International Chhattisgarh headed by Mr. Lokesh Kavadya from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
On July 30, 2014; Sixty Three Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Nine (63959) children from eighty-nine schools learned the preparation of ORS from pre-trained children.
The World Record of ‘most people registering for eye donation in eight hours at multiple locations’ has been jointly achieved by Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) and M. K. International Eye Bank from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
On April 29, 2014; Twenty Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Five (28785) people majorly students, faculties and staff from the affiliated institutions of DAVV, registered for eye donation in more than 100 locations within eight hours.
