The World Record of ‘most number of anticlockwise hand-rotations in one minute’ has been achieved byMr. Rakesh Patel from Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
On May 13, 2015 during a programme Mr. Patel rotated his hands in anti clockwise direction Two Hundred Fifty Two (252) times in a minute.
The World Record of ‘most number of cakes cut simultaneously at a single location’ has been achieved by ILVA Higher Secondary School from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
On July 14, 2015, Four Hundred Twenty One (421) cakes were cut on the occasion of the foundation day of School.
The World Record of ‘largest bagel’ has been achieved by Bruegger’s bakery-cafes from New York, USA.
To celebrate its anniversary, Bruegger’s bakery-cafes made 868 pound (393.7 kg) bagel, which measured 6 feet in diameter and was 20 inches thick. Using 1,075 pounds of dough, 660 pounds of flour, 900 gallons of water, 53 pounds of malt, a nine-person baking team baked the giant bagel and it was unveiled at The Great New York State Fair in Syracuse.
The World Record of ‘largest collection of miniature books’ has been achieved by Mr. Jozsef Tari from Hungary.
Mr. Jozsef has a collection of Four Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Eight (4578) miniature books. The books are on literature, history, politics, sports and art from 31 countries around the world. None of the books are more than 76 mm high. The oldest book in Jozef’s collection is 100 years old while his smallest title is a mere 2.75 mm high and 1.75 mm wide.
