The World Record “farthest distance travelled in firefighter’s gear in 24 hours” has been achieved by Robert Verhelst from Waunakee, Wisconsin, United States of America.
During Apr 19 – 20, 2024; Mr. Verhelst travelled Forty (40) miles in 24 hours while wearing full firefighter’s gear, including a helmet, turnout jacket, bunker pants and boots.
Ex-fireman performed the feat at Scottsdale, Arizona to raise awareness about mental health issues and needs in the first responder community.
